Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda has assured assistance to the Kabalens affected by flooding due to weather disturbances.
The governor personally distributed relief goods to 6,260 families in seven barangays in Masantol town, the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said.
Relief goods were also given to the residents in Macabebe and other municipalities.
Pineda, together with Sto. Tomas Mayor John Sampo, met the barangay captains in the municipality to discuss the situation of the flooded areas.
Typhoon Carina and southwest monsoon brought strong rains that inundated many areas in Luzon on Wednesday, July 24.
