Gov Pineda gives aid to Pampanga’s Bantay Bayan

Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has led the distribution of assistance to some 2,600 Bantay Bayan members in the province.

The beneficiaries received P3,000 each under the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) during the recent gathering to show the provincial government’s gratitude for their service, the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said.

The recipients came from various municipalities and cities, including San Fernando, Mexico, Minalin, San Simon, and Sto. Tomas.

The Bantay Bayan members also received food packs from the provincial government.

“Saludo ang Kapitolyo sa inyo, mga Bantay Bayan — mga bayani ng barangay, tagapangalaga ng kapayapaan, at haligi ng ligtas na Pampanga,” the PIO said.
