Gov Pineda gives food packs, cash assistance to Muslim constituents in Pampanga

Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda has distributed food packs and cash aid to his Muslim constituents.

The provincial government concluded on Thursday, March 27, the “Kapitolyo sa Barangay program” by giving aid to 599 Muslims in San Fernando City.

Pineda cited the equal treatment among Kapampangans, regardless of their faith.

“Huwag niyong isipin na dahil Muslim kayo, iba na ang benepisyo. Lahat kayo ay pantay-pantay pagdating sa tulong ng probinsya. Dahil nandito kayo sa Pampanga, tinuturing na po namin kayong pamilya,” he said at the event.

Each beneficiary received one piece of chicken, 10 canned goods, five kilos of rice, and P2,000.

Other local officials were also present at the event.
