Gov Pineda gives P6K cash assistance to barangay workers in Pampanga 2nd district

Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has led the distribution of cash incentives to 1,394 barangay health workers (BHWs) and barangay nutrition scholars (BNS) from the province’s second district.

The beneficiaries received P6,000 each during the release of assistance on Wednesday, November 19.

Of the amount, P4,000 came from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, while the P2,000 came from the provincial government.

During the event, Pineda thanked the volunteers, whom she called “tahimik na bayani” of each barangay.

Aside from cash assistance, the barangay workers also received free maintenance medicines, panties, and food packs.
