Gov Pineda provides aid to over 2K Kapampangan ambulant vendors

Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has extended financial assistance to more than 2,000 ambulant vendors from the two provincial districts.

Each of the 2,016 ambulant vendors from the third and fourth districts received P3,000 under the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP), the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said.

“Naisip ko talaga kayo. Habang malakas ako, gusto ko malusog lahat at walang napababayaang Kapampangan,” Pineda said.

Meanwhile, 70 beneficiaries from Arayat and Candaba also received P15,000 each as capital under the DSWD’s Sustainable Livelihood Program.

“Nakatanggap rin ang mga benepisyaryo ng food packs at libreng gamot mula sa kapitolyo,” the PIO said.
