Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, together with Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, has expressed gratitude to the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials for their service to the public.
He made the statement during the SK officials’ year-end assessment, which was attended by 4,989 SK officials in the entire province at the Kingsborough International Convention Center.
The event held on Thursday, December 12, had the theme, “Empowering SK Officials for Safe and Secured Communities.”
“Eya sana maging hadlang ing kekayung pamag serbisyo para aryan ing kekayung pamagaral. I-priority ye ing kekayung Future,” the governor said in his message.
He also urged the participants to help their less fortunate fellow youth to finish their studies through the provincial government’s scholarship program.
The governor also sought the SK officials’ assistance in encouraging the youth, 12 to 16 years old who are fond of playing basketball, to join in the training camp.
“Bilang maagang pamasko sa kanila, bawat isa ay nakatanggap ng manok, hotdog, at cash gift na tig- P2,000,” the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said.
