The Angeles City government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., has received an award for its commitment to high-quality governance, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conferred the Recognition for Commitment to Quality Management (Level 1) at the 2024 Philippine Quality Award Regionalization Program, the City Information Office (CIO) said.
It was the 38th award under the current administration.
Quoting Lazatin, the CIO said the mayor expressed his gratitude for the award, which reflected the collective efforts of the local government in ensuring quality programs and services for Angeleños.
“This recognition is a testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence in public service. It is not just an achievement of the city government but of every Angeleño who inspires us to do better every day,” Lazatin said.
