The Pampanga government, under the leadership of Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, has provided artificial legs to some Cabalens.
The Provincial Information Office (PIO) said the distribution of artificial legs was through the “Alagang Nanay Preventive Health Care Program.”
Seven of the 16 amputees visited the offices of Governor Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda to express their gratitude.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa pagbibigay sa amin ng artificial leg dahil unti-unti maayos na po kaming makakalakad,” the PIO said, quoting Angela Dizon, a beneficiary.
It said the provincial capitol is always open to the Kapampangans who need health and medical assistance.
