“Kapebaluan, OTOP earn P22,400 sales at TTKD event “

ANGELES CITY — The city government-run cafe Kapebaluan and One Town, One Product (OTOP) stalls garnered a total of P22,400 in sales at this year’s two-day Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan (TTKD) festival.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. expressed his gratitude to the community, saying, “We thank everyone who supported our local entrepreneurs at TTKD. Providing platforms like this helps sustain the growth of our homegrown products.”

“We are very happy, this development reflects the strong support of Angeles City residents and visitors for our community-based businesses,” Lazatin added.

Kapebaluan, known for its locally sourced coffee, offered a variety of brews made from Angeleño beans, while OTOP featured local merchants handicrafts representing Angeles City’s cultural heritage.

Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Office, headed by Irish Bonus-Llego, who manages both stalls, shared that TTKD-goers have enjoyed the variety of drinks offered at Kapebaluan, and amazed at the world-class handicrafts from OTOP.

The Kapebaluan and OTOP store, both operations supervised by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, serve as a livelihood assistance of the city government to the local farmers and micro-entrepreneurs.
