Lazatin admin lauds certification for Angeles City’s 3-year DRRM Plan

The Angeles City government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, has hailed the certification it received on the disaster preparedness plan.

The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDMMC) 3 gave the recognition.

In giving the award, the RDMMC 3 said the city’s DRRM Plan 2026-2028 is aligned with the RDDM Plan and “appropriate to the hazards” identified for the Angeles City local government unit.

The submitted Local DRRM Fund Investment Program for Fiscal Year 2026 was also seen as consistent with the LDRRMP reviewed, the regional office added.

“This certification signifies strengthened regional alignment and coherence of DRRM efforts, enhanced readiness to address local hazards through well-planned programs, projects, and activities, and fiscal prudence with transparent budgeting aligned to DRRM priorities,” the City Information Office (CIO) said.
