Mayor Caluag attends San Fernando City schools’ environmental summit

Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag of San Fernando City, Pampanga graced the Environmental Summit for Schools on Tuesday, January 28.

Organized by the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO), students, teachers, and representatives from 47 educational sites in the city participated in the event held at the Department of Education Building in the City Civic Center.

In her message, the City Information Office (CIO) said Caluag cited her administration’s efforts to ensure a clean and safe environment for all Fernandinos through “impactful initiatives and programs.”

She also thanked the city’s longtime partners in this endeavor – the Mother Earth Foundation and Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives (GAIA), along with other groups.

Vice Mayor BJ “Tiger” Lagman, who also attended the activity, thanked DepEd City of San Fernando Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Shirley Zipagan for her support and efforts in the summit.
