Mayor Caluag welcomes Zero Waste Baguio reps to San Fernando City

Mayor Vilma B. Caluag of San Fernando City, Pampanga has warmly welcomed representatives from Baguio City local government for the “best practices” dialogue on environmental protection.

The Zero Waste Baguio Team visited the city on Thursday, October 3, after Caluag’s team went to Baguio City.

Caluag joined Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rex Gatchalian as well as the other Luzon mayors in the signing of a memorandum of agreement in Baguio City.

She thanked Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong for welcoming them.

“Kung nitong Martes and Miyerkules ay tayo po ang nasa Baguio City para sa MOA signing with DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, ang mga taga-Baguio naman po ang masaya nating iwinelcome sa CSFP ngayong Huwebes!” Caluag said.

“Salamat sa pagbisita, Zero Waste Baguio at sana ay naibahagi po namin ang best practices ng San Fernando in terms of environmental protection sa tulong ng CENRO (City Environment and Natural Resources Office),” she added.
