Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has led the distribution of certificates of lot awards to some 640 displaced families in Balubad, Barangay Anunas.
The awarding ceremony was held on May 9 at the Mayor’s Office.
The displaced families will be relocated to Magalang. Each family will receive a 50-square-meter lot under the city government’s socialized housing project.
“Patuloy po nating lilingapin ang kapakanan ng mga taga-Sitio Balubad na nangangailangan ng sariling bahay,” Lazatin said.
The former Sitio Balubad residents were evicted in March last year from the 73-hectare land reclaimed by its owner, Clarkhills Properties Corporation.
