Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has received a briefing regarding the newly expanded public memorial park in the city.

Angeles City Public Memorial Park and Crematorium Head Philip Samson briefed the mayor on Monday, September 23.

IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel joined Lazatin in the meeting.

The city government recently inaugurated the expansion of the Angeles City Public Memorial Park and Crematorium.

“The city’s public memorial park is now expanding to additional 2,748 niches,” the local government said.

The initiative aimed to provide a dignified resting place for the deceased and ease the financial burden of indigent Angeleño families during times of grieving, it added.
