Angeles City, led by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, has kicked off the Fiestang Kuliat 2025 celebration.
The first event of the festivities was the Feast of the Guardian Angels at the Pisamban Maragul, where a mass, followed by a procession, was held to officially start the month-long activities.
“Fiestang Kuliat brings vitality not only to our tourism but also to our local economy, supports small businesses, and showcases our rich heritage,” Lazatin said.
“More importantly, it reinforces the bonds that make Angeles City a warm and welcoming home for families,” he added.
Fiestang Kuliat, spearheaded by the Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), preserves centuries-old Filipino Catholic traditions while incorporating contemporary expressions of art, music, and cuisine.
