Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II welcomed representatives from the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Pampanga at his office on Wednesday, July 9.
During the meeting, the City Information Office (CIO) said the discussions centered on the ongoing efforts to clean and beautify the Abacan River and its easement, key initiatives in enhancing the city’s environment and livability.
It said the mayor shared his vision of establishing Task Force Abacan to ensure sustained and focused action for the river’s rehabilitation and protection.
Also in the meeting were officials from the City Planning and Development Office and City ENRO (CENRO), all committed to working together for Angeles City’s green future.
