Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has expressed gratitude to his constituents for supporting the Kadiwa ni Kita at Ani at Angeles City Hall.
The City Information Office (CIO) said the fifth month of Kadiwa market recorded its highest earnings to date, with P74,985 in just two days.
“This reflects a significant 10% increase from the P68,000 earned in August,” the CIO said.
Lazatin vowed to continue his administration’s support to Kadiwa where local farmers sell their products.
“We will continue to help our Kadiwa merchants improve their lives and support their families,” he said.
As part of the highly anticipated Kambal Festival Trade Fair 2024, the monthly Kadiwa, organized by the Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Office, would return in October at the Museo ni Angeles.
Launched by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., through the Department of Agriculture, Kadiwa ensures access to affordable food, especially for low-income families.
To recall, the Kadiwa ni Kita at Ani also earned P63,650 in July, P51,070 in June, and P61,807 in May.
