Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has welcomed the city’s hosting of the Grand Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Fair of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA).
ARTA Secretary and Director General Atty. Ernesto Perez joined the mayor at the event to celebrate the EODB Month on Monday, May 19.
The activity aimed to bring essential frontline services closer to the people, the City Information Office (CIO) said.
Eleven national government agencies participated in the fair. These were the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) – Regional Field Office Central Luzon, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and the Social Security System (SSS).
“Each agency offered a variety of services such as ID enrollment, registration, membership verification, issuance of certificates, and access to digital platforms—geared toward making public service delivery more streamlined and efficient,” the CIO said.
