For a change, it was the journalists—not the newsmakers—who took center stage.
Members of the Central Luzon Media Association (CLMA) Pampanga Chapter traded deadlines and breaking news for a day of relaxation and self-care during the Organiks-CLMA Health and Wellness Day on Tuesday, June 30, at Organiks Salon and Wellness Angeles City.
The gathering is the wellness center’s first major community initiative since opening its doors on June 12, reflected Organiks’ belief that those who tirelessly keep the public informed also deserve time to recharge and care for themselves.
Throughout the event, media practitioners experienced an array of wellness services designed to nurture both body and mind. From salon treatments and skin aesthetic procedures to soothing spa massages and slimming services, the day’s activities offered a welcome respite from the fast-paced demands of the newsroom.
For Organiks Salon and Wellness owner Alainne Tan, the event was more than a wellness showcase—it was a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for the media’s indispensable role in society.
“This is very important to us because we consider the media one of our key partners in health education and awareness. You’re the ones giving right and timely information, so you’re also public carers, and we believe in giving care to the carers,” Tan said.
Looking ahead, Tan shared that Organiks Salon and Wellness is set to expand its range of holistic healthcare services. Soon, clients will also have access to free on-site doctor assessments, enhanced slimming programs, and lifestyle medicine consultations, further reinforcing the center’s commitment to preventive health and total wellness.
As Organiks continues to grow, its vision extends beyond beauty and aesthetics. It seeks to become a destination where wellness, confidence, and healthier living come together—one client, one community, and one meaningful partnership at a time.
