Over 3K barangay workers in Pampanga get cash aid

More than 3,000 barangay health workers (BHWs) and barangay nutrition scholars (BNS) in Pampanga have received financial assistance.

Pampanga Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda was present during the distribution of P3,000 each to the 3,279 barangay workers on Friday, January 17.

“Ang mga nasabing volunteers ay nagsisilbing mga katuwang ng kapitolyo para mas mailapit ang mga serbisyo ng Kapitolyo sa mga kabalen at sa mga nangangailangan ng tulong sa mga kanilang nasaskupan,” the Provincial Information (PIO) said.

The cash aid was given under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
