The Angeles City government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, has expressed its readiness to welcome more than 6,000 delegates to the Junior Chamber International (JCI) World Congress 2026 to be held in Clark in November.
The Philippines secured the hosting rights in 2024 through a bid led by JCI Manila and JCI Angeles City Culiat, with the support of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC).
The five-day international gathering from November 11 to 15 will feature leadership workshops, assemblies, cultural exchanges, exhibitions, and networking activities—bringing together young leaders and professionals from 120 countries.
“For Angeles City, the congress is more than an international gathering. It is an opportunity for Angeleños, local businesses, tourism establishments, young leaders, and community partners to be part of an event that will bring people from different countries closer to our city and the Clark Freeport area,” the City Information Office (CIO) said.
The event also highlights the growing role of Clark and Angeles City as a destination for international meetings, tourism, leadership activities, and global collaboration, it added.
