NEW CLARK CITY — The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and Pag-IBIG Fund have partnered to explore housing development opportunities in New Clark City (NCC), bringing homes closer to workplaces under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expand 4PH) program.

‎Under a memorandum of agreement, the two agencies will explore housing and other development opportunities on approximately 14 hectares of land in NCC.

‎In a statement, Pag-IBIG Fund said the proposed development eyes a walk-to-work township where employees working in NCC can live within walking distance of their workplaces.

‎The project aims to integrate residential areas with commercial establishments, recreational spaces, and other facilities, providing workers and their families convenience.

‎Taking advantage of the area’s natural landscape, the proposed township also aims to provide residents with access to a greener living environment.

Aside from NCC, the two agencies have identified Camp John Hay, Morong Discovery Park, and Poro Point Freeport Zone as potential sites for future housing projects.

‎According to BCDA,the partnership supports the government’s efforts to expand access to quality and affordable housing for Filipino families through the Expanded 4PH program.

‎The partnership comes as Pag-IBIG Fund and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development prepare for the second National Housing Expo 2026, which aims to provide a one-stop shop for homeownership through a wide selection of housing options, exclusive offers from partner developers, and Pag-IBIG Fund assistance.
