Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda said that more than 3,000 Kapampangan youth received educational financial assistance.
He said each of the 3,611 beneficiaries enrolled in college got P4,000.
The governor appealed to the recipients from the four districts of Pampanga to study hard.
“Ang tangi ko pong pakiusap sa kanila ay mag-aral silang mabuti. Ang tangi ko pong pangako, hanggang kaya ng Kapitolyo, ay tutulungan ko sila na makatapos ng pag-aral,” Pineda said.
Among the recipients of the cash aid were children of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries, daycare workers, persons with disabilities (PWDs) or PWDs themselves, and solo parents.
