The Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PamCham), in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, distributed emergency relief on Wednesday to families displaced by widespread flooding across the province.
The joint mission delivered hot meals, packed food, bottled water, and essential medicines to evacuees sheltering in designated centers. Relief teams visited sites across Bacolor, Guagua—including Barangay Betis—and Lubao to bring aid directly to affected households.
PamCham officials credited the rapid response to contributions from corporate members, partner businesses, and individual donors. The effort also received backing from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) North Luzon leadership, which urged regional chambers to take proactive roles during the crisis.
Organizers noted that donations continue to arrive, prompting plans for a second wave of distributions to these and other evacuation centers in the coming days. PamCham stated it remains committed to assisting residents through both the emergency response and subsequent recovery phases.
