PAMPANGA – DepEd Region III Asst. Regional Director Jessie L. Amin and PhilHealth Region III Acting Vice President Henry V. Almanon lead the Commitment Signing and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of DepEd Region III as an accredited Konsulta provider clinic on May 15, 2025 at the Aquino Hall, DepEd Regional Office, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
As first DepEd regional Konsulta provider clinic nationwide, the provision of primary care services such as medical check-up/ consultation, diagnostic/laboratory tests, and maintenance medicines for teachers, students, faculty, administration, staff, and their family members will be ensured.
This milestone is through the initiatives and support of DepEd Regional Director Ronnie S. Mallari, DepEd Medical Officer IV Dr. Jose Ezra D. Rostrata, PhilHealth San Fernando Head Ma. Elizabeth B. Capuli and team.
PhilHealth Konsulta supports DepEd ARD Amin’s advocacy of happier communities through 3 pillars of life: health; professional and personal development; and relationship.
PhilHealth AVP Almanon aims to cover all provinces in Central Luzon through accreditation of Konsulta providers/facilities, registration/assignment, accessibility and use of Konsulta benefit packages to promote happier and healthier members.
As part of health promotion, DepEd Region III also includes the PhilHealth Learners’ Material (PLM) in their DepEd Portal since 2024 and discussions with teachers and students to increase awareness on their PhilHealth benefit programs and services.
