PASAY CITY, Philippines — The Philippine Net Zero Conference 2026, happening September 15–16 at the Philippine Trade Training Center in Pasay City, will convene policymakers, business leaders, and solutions providers to accelerate the Philippines’ transition to a net zero future.
Themed “Bridging Gaps: Radical Collaboration for a Net Zero Future,” the conference aims to bridge the divide between corporate ambition and concrete action. Organized by the Net Zero Carbon Alliance (NZCA) in partnership with the Southeast Asia Corporate Decarbonization Exchange (CDx), the two-day summit will move beyond dialogue to deployment.
The conference marks the 5th anniversary of NZCA, the country’s leading private-sector coalition for net zero, founded in 2021 by Energy Development Corporation.
The Goal: From Commitment to Execution
At a time when energy crises and climate impacts are disrupting supply chains and threatening business survival, the conference seeks to achieve three key objectives:
1. Align Policy with Practice: Equip companies to comply with mandatory sustainability disclosures, climate governance standards, and carbon footprint tracking.
2. Unlock Finance and Technology: Connect businesses, especially SMEs, directly with climate finance, clean-technology providers, AI-driven carbon management tools, and smart energy systems.
3. Build Radical Collaboration: Create a platform where government, corporations, advocates, and innovators can co-develop solutions that ensure both climate resilience and long-term economic survival.
“The global energy crisis has made one thing unmistakably clear: protecting our climate and insulating our businesses from severe risk are the exact same fight,” said Allan Barcena, NZCA executive director. “Achieving net zero is more urgent than ever because transitioning to clean, regenerative solutions is the only viable path.”
What to Expect
Day 1 – The Framework: Focuses on the essentials for action — governance, disclosure, finance, and footprint accounting. The day will also feature NZCA’s 5-year accomplishment report and new member pledges.
Day 2 – The Solutions: Shifts to market-ready deployment, featuring live demonstrations of decarbonization technologies and dedicated business-matching sessions between delegates and solution providers.
