Even as PLDT, Inc. seemed to be on a flattish growth on its consolidated service revenues in the first semester of this year, PLDT Home continues to innovate for its residential subscribers, maintaining its position in creating steady income with its unique offerings of video on demand and other avenues of entertainment.
Bringing not just fiber to the homes but also promo bundles of fixed based and wireless connectivity and content providers, PLDT Home has maintained its dominance in the postpaid space.
PLDT Home’s total revenues reached ₱30.0 billion in the first half of 2026, supported by a Fiber subscriber base of 3.9 million as of end-June 2026.
Fiber revenues were sustained at ₱29.4 billion, remaining broadly stable year on year. PLDT Home continued to maintain premium ARPU levels relative to the industry, while its Postpaid churn rate improved to 1.5%, leading to a blended churn rate of 1.8%, an industry-best. This reflects sustained customer loyalty and the resilience of the broadband business. Gross adds continue to ramp-up as Home accelerates its operational recovery after its Operational Support System (OSS) migration in the first quarter of 2026.
Product innovation remained a key growth driver during the period. PLDT Home introduced the new Fiber Unli All, an all-in-one bundle combining fiber broadband, Cignal TV, HBO Max, Smart mobile data, and unlimited landline calls into a single subscription, delivering greater value and convenience, while deepening the relationship with Filipino families.
“What we’ve seen is that it is now taking up a huge part of our new installs and is taking over the lower Average Revenue Per Unit variant because of our convergence with the content providers and Smart,” said John Palanca, PLDT Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business.
He made the remark Thursday during the First Half 2026 Financial and Operations report of PLDT, the country’s only integrated telco company.
The convergence in the bundle, such as its Unlli All 1499 (pesos) includes fiber broadband, allocation of nine gigabytes of data by PLDT’s wireless arm Smart, unlimited calls, Cignal channels and HBO Max.
Unli All plans, said Palanca, bring savings to subscribers of up to P785 pesos compared to individual or separate subscriptions.
“If you break down the values of the individual offers, our subscribers have seen a significant savings from the bundle services. The convenience from single billing and the plan works, the bundle works,” Palanca said.
For the second half of 2026, Palanca disclosed that there will be more features in the bundled plans such as additional video on demand and content providers and even online family healthcare providers as freebies. He declined to give specifics.
