Barangay officials in Porac, Pampanga have expressed gratitude to Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) Pampanga and Prime Infra Foundation for providing relief assistance to their constituents who were affected by the recent heavy rains.
In a statement, PWS Pampanga General Manager Jake Lachica said that 1,200 residents from Barangays Planas, Pio, Calantas, and Camias received relief packs containing two kilograms of rice, canned goods, instant noodles, and coffee.
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa Prime Waste Solutions sa voluntary nilang pagbibigay tulong sa aming komunidad. Alam naman natin na panahon ng bagyo ngayon, maraming nasalanta, maraming nangangailangan,” Barangay Planas Captain Alfer Nacu said.
Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairwoman Joyce Cunanan of Barangay Planas also thanked the company and foundation for the assistance.
“Gusto ko lamang magpasalamat sa Prime Waste Solutions sa binigay na relief goods sa mga nabaha dito sa Planas, ‘yung mga naapektuhan ng Bagyong Crising…Sana marami pa kayong matulungan na mga tao,” she said.
Prime Infra Foundation Programs and Operations Head Bernadette Tan said the initiative formed part of their commitment to help strengthen the resilience of their host communities.
She vowed that PWS Pampanga and Prime Infra Foundation would extend more support for the communities, noting that livelihood and sustainability initiatives are already in the pipeline.
PWS Pampanga is part of Filipino businessman Enrique K. Razon Jr.’s Prime Infra.
