Roland “Rox” Pena dies at 61

MABALACAT CITY – Environmental advocate. Media practitioner. Business executive. Multi-term city councilor. In whatever order, the multi-faceted Engr. Roland “Rox” Pena made his mark in the hearts and minds of the Kapampangan, especially, his fellow Mabalaqunians, with his singular dedication, commitment, and excellence to the task at hand: co-host of Bukas Bayan on dwRW95.1, columnist of SunStar-Pampanga, former president of the Metro Angeles City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former vice president of Zero waste Philippines, former president of Environmental Practitioners’ Association, author of the Mabalacat City Environmental Code.

It is this that will be most missed of the 2024 Most Outstanding Kapampangan in the Field of Environmental Engineering with his passing today, Feb. 9, two days after his 61st birthday. Punto Obit
