The San Fernando City government, under the leadership of Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag, has conducted a seminar on Data Privacy Awareness.
Over 100 college students from different institutions participated in the activity held on Thursday, March 27, at the Heroes Hall.
The City Legal Office (CLO) and the City Data Privacy Compliance Committee (CDPCC) spearheaded the event with participants coming from the University of the Assumption, Central Luzon College of Science and Technology, St. Nicolas College of Business and Technology, Our Lady of Fatima University Pampanga Campus, and the City College of San Fernando Pampanga.
City Information and Communications Technology Officer and DPCC Co-Chairperson James Francis Villanueva cited the impact and significance of the law on the lives of Filipinos, particularly the youth sector.
