Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has inspected Sapang Labuan after the water overflowed there, prompting the provincial government to do emergency sandbagging.
The Sapang Labuan connects Minalin, Guagua, and Sasmuan.
Pineda acknowledged that Sapang Labuan is one of the waterways that needs the government’s attention.
She said the area should be dredged for the water to immediately flow and avoid flooding in low-lying areas.
