Science City of Muñoz DRRMO welcomes Bacolor counterpart for benchmarking activity

The local government of Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija has welcomed representatives from Bacolor, Pampanga, for benchmarking on disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) best practices.

The Bacolor Municipal DRRM Office personnel met their counterpart in the city on Wednesday, October 15.

“Naging oportunidad ang pagkikita upang makapagpalitan ng impormasyon at estratehiya ang dalawang ahensiya, ukol sa pamamalakad ng Emergency Operations Center (EOC), pati na rin ang pagkalap ng sapat na kagamitan para sa epektibong pagresponde sa anumang aksidente o sakuna,” the city government said.

Science City of Muñoz DRRMO Department Head Engr. Randy Baldedara presented the infrastructure and new technology that the city uses for rescue and disaster response and the implementation of first aid training in the city’s 37 barangays.
