Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda has led the distribution of relief goods to some 6,000 residents of San Fernando, Camarines Sur affected by Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine.”
The governor personally went to the Bicol Region on Saturday, November 9, to hand over the aid.
Quoting San Fernando Mayor Fermin Mabulo, the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said while their town was not severely affected by Krisitne, they helped the stranded Bicolanos during the typhoon onslaught.
Joining Pineda in the distribution of assistance were Pampanga Mayor’s League President and Apalit Mayor Jun Tetangco, Special Assistant to the Governor and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Chief Angelina Blanco, and Acting Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Fe Manarang.
