
The United Central Luzon Athletic Association (UCLAA) is ramping up preparations as more teams are set to join its 10th season.
Gil Cortez, UCLAA founder and chairman, said that they are finalizing details that would enable the league meet its objectives.

“This is a developmental league and as we welcome more teams we are now ironing out details like rules, formats and host schools,” Cortez told PNN.
He said that UCLAA will have 14 teams from various parts of the region. They will vie for the championship within a five weekend schedule.

Games venues in a home-and-away format will be the Pampanga State University (Sept 13-15), Holy Angel University (Sept 20-21), Systems Plus College Foundation (Sept 26-28), and Holy Angel University (Oct 3-5).
The league is sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas. It has been credited for player development for various competitive basketball leagues in the Philippines.
