VG Pineda honors Pampanga’s ‘peace maker’ LGUs

Pampanga Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda has led the conferment of awards to the outstanding municipalities and cities in the province for their implementation of peace and order programs.

The awarding ceremony for the Peace Makers 2025-Best Peace and Order Council Award was held during the 4th Quarter Pampanga Peace and Order Council (PPOC) Meeting on Thursday, December 4.

Arayat received the first place, followed by Magalang (2nd place), Sasmuan (3rd place), Mabalacat City (4th place), and Sta. Rita (5th place), the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said.

Meanwhile, Board Member Claire Lim joined the PPOC meeting. Representatives from the province’s Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and Armed Forces of the Philippines 70th Infantry Battalion were also present.

“Patunay ito ng matibay na ugnayan at koordinasyon ng mga ahensya sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at kaayusan sa Pampanga,” the PIO said.
