Two police officers from Angeles City have been relieved from their posts following a viral video showing a traffic altercation involving a truck driver along Mon Tang Avenue on July 18.
In the video, a police patrol vehicle can be seen swerving left from the middle lane, prompting the truck driver to honk his horn. Shortly after, the officers chased the truck, forced it to stop, and confronted the driver.

According to the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO), the actions of the two officers were unacceptable. The ACPO condemned what it described as unprofessional and inappropriate behavior by the policemen.
The police leadership emphasized that the conduct of the officers did not meet the Philippine National Police (PNP)’s standards of courtesy, respect, and discipline in dealing with civilians.
As a result, the two officers were relieved from duty and are now under the custody of the City Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit pending an investigation.
The ACPO assured the public that it remains committed to cleansing its ranks and asked for continued understanding from the community. #
